Hope For All is able to maintain direct relationships with the Kinshasa DRC orphanage through our partnership with the Global Orphan Foundation (GOF). GOF works with vulnerable children in the DRC as well, and have trusted staff on the ground that they have partnered with for years. GOF has been generous enough to share their staff time with HFA so we can continue our projects with the Kinshasa orphanage.
GOF focuses on long-term family placement and care for orphans in the DRC, while HFA focuses specifically on funding the Kinshasa orphanage for children not placed in permanent families. Because GOF manages their on-the-ground staff, and because they are a 501 (c) 3 federally recognized nonprofit, Hope For All donations to the Kinshasa orphanage are processed through their accounts.
